Stephen Morley - Open day

Saturday 14th July 2018       12pm - 5pm

Stephen has a medium-sized collection housed mainly in an 18' x 18' greenhouse.  The majority of the collection are Sarracenias, but he also has a good mix of almost all of the carnivorous genera including Dionaea, Drosera, Cephalotus, Pinguicula, Nepenthes, Drosophyllum, Utricularia and a few Heliamphora.  Outside is a large coldframe with Darlingtonia, hardy Drosera, Pinguicula and Sarracenia purpurea forms.  He has published several cultivars over the years, and all are available to view, including the latest ones such as Sarracenia 'Troll', 'Freja' and 'Chris'.  There are usually lots of pants for sale at very good prices, including some of the rarer cultivars, and many visitors bring plants for sale as well.

Stephen also has a well-planted gardenand a range of other greenhouse plants of interest including succulents, Strelitzia's, palms and orchids.
